Fender® unveiled its "Tweed" series amps to fantastic success and acclaim in 1993. The concept: What if a fantastic ancient collectable '50s DeluxeTM or Bassman® was customized with channel switching and reverb? Behold the Reissue Blues DeluxeTM...A vintage-style tube amp with "boutique" tone at a fantastic price that many a pro rock, country and blues player has used to superb effect. While its newer cousin, the Hot Rod DeluxeTM, has many present refinements, more and more enthusiasts continue to request the warm tone, unique circuitry, classic features and sharp look of the original version. In view of that, the Reissue Blues DeluxeTM pours 40 watts of juice into a single 12" Special Design Eminence® speaker, fueled by two 6L6 Groove Tubes® productivity tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. Its two channels, "normal" (with bright switch) and "drive," are voiced for classic blues, country and rock; other features contain Fender® spring reverb, an effects loop and two-button channel footswitch. I bought the Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue after comparing many of the other Fender amps. Prior to this, I used small practice amps at home. For rehearsals and performances I was always fortunate to have access to other more powerful amps. After much research, it seemed that the Fender Blues Deluxe would suit my wants and financial statement. I used it at a gig 5 days after receiving it. It superceeded my expectations. It provided more high quality sound than I thought it would be capable of. I highly recommend this product.
