I’ve had this guitar for about 2 years now, and it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s got an awesome sound, and it’s a excellent size. It’s fantastic for a beginner, or someone that doesn’t want to spend a whole bunch of money, but that wants a full sized guitar.
I didn’t get mine from amazon, so mine was more than what they say it is on this site. That’s a pretty excellent price people. My in rank right now would be to buy this guitar on this site for a fantastic price. This guitar is fantastic.

I have been using this guitar for about a year have posted pics also on amazon. I got it from geartree for 99.99 and I am glad that the guitar was so nice. Bass thread and treble thread 1-6 just sound so clear and seperated in this guitar. I’d suggest any beginner to go with this guitar. Even proffessionals can try too if they haven’t tried it. worth

This is my third guitar. They have all been entry level instruments, and it seems as quick as I buy them I give them to my children. This one I will keep. This is by far the best guitar of the previous two, and thinking back the least expensive. I cannot believe how well-made this instrument is, with close attention to detail. There were no small-cuts taken when assembling this guitar, those small details that usually distinguish entry level instuments. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

This is a nice beginner’s guitar. The action is kind of high, so you will earn your calluses quickly. I bought mine from GearTree through Amazon, and it arrived quickly in fantastic condition. But, consider buying directly from a vendor’s website, because some offer free shipping when you buy directly. Then you can buy a decent case or a strap as well, and for the same price as shipping would have cost you. Also, get an inexpensive tuner as well – you will be playing the day it arrives!

Bought my Jasmine S35 at a local music shop. I own a fine Larrivee acoustic as well as several other guitars. The action is adjustable, and I have set it just right – low action, no buzzing. The construction is remarkably flawless. It plays (action) very well, unlike the lengthy and discouraging quality naturally found in inexpensive instruments. Although it does not ring out like more expensive guitars with finer spruce tops, it has a unique tone for blues fingerpicking and a nice, even strumming sound too. It doesn’t look cheap. this guitar is a steal at $100.

I bought this guitar from Austin Bazaar as a Christmas gift for my 13yr ancient daughter who is keen to gather to play. It was excellently packaged and is a wonderful instrument. We could not believe the quality of the sound! It has a superb tone and is impressively crafted. Brilliant value for money. We will certainly be recommending it to others.

Takamine’s model categorize for this is ‘S35′. In my estimation, the ‘S’ must stand for ‘solid’, ‘smooth’, ‘superb’, ‘special’ or just plain ‘sweet’.
This guitar seems to be perfect for a beginner or amateur/recreational player.
The construction and overall quality are very impressive. From the solid fit and close to the simple to tune/maintain hardware – this guitar is top notch.
Looks-wise, the close is darker than pictured and is matte not glossy. The close will not show finger prints like a gloss-finished black bargain basement model. This is one excellent looking instrument that looks like it cost far more than it does. It features a warm, rich wood tone exterior.
The sound produced by the guitar is brilliant and warm. In terms of playing, the action doesn’t seem to be too high as indicated in other reviews. I find this to be a very simple instrument to play and keep in tune.
This guitar will never be mistaken for a cheap guitar. Compared to other ‘entry-level’ offerings, this product is in a different class. This guitar has received several “wows” and more than one “wonderful” from friends and family.
Thanks to Takamine for producing a fantastic product at an affordable price. It is encouraging to see that a right value can be had that allows just about anyone to place a quality musical instrument in their hands.
In shopping for guitars I checked out higher-priced models from all kinds of makers. To be sure, a higher-priced Takamine or Martin will impress your friends and make you the envy of your neighbors. But pound for pound, this is the best guitar that I have tried out.
If given the choice, I would buy one again with no hesitation.

I bought this guitar from Amazon several months ago and I’ve been very pleased. I’ve always been told that it is best to gather to play on an acoustic guitar, and after having an electric guitar sit neglected in the corner of my room, I chose I needed to get serious about my playing. I came here because I was looking for a deal, but I was wary when I saw the price of this guitar. But after reading all the reviews, I bought it and have never looked back. This guitar is incredible. I play it every day — it’s such a fantastic beginner guitar, needless to say much better a beginner guitar than a Strat. It stays in tune, all the clarification are so profoundly audible, the woodwork and strings are of fantastic quality; I’d recommend this guitar to anyone, experienced or not.
This guitar has really inspired me to get busy playing, just because it’s so worth the money. Best $100 I’ve ever spent.

First, I had NO IDEA HOW TO PLAY the guitar before I ordered this ‘cheap’ guitar and had it shipped to Afghanistan where I am currently stationed. It arrived FAST, which is fantastic. It arrived in excellent shape, which means that the packaging is excellent. After I place it together (strings anyway) I busted the small thread (whichever one that is). Fifteen minutes later and a small theft from a followers thread stash I had my guitar strung and tuned.
Since there are hundreds of podcasts on how to play a guitar for free and books all over this base on how to play the guitar – I am proud to say that I can now ‘get by’ with a a few tunes.
This guitar plays well, it is light (which I like), sounds nice (a small twangy) and is perfect for the price.
I will be leaving it here is Afghanistan when I return home, but it will continue to be loved by soldiers for a long time as the quality of the manufacturing is excellent and sturdy.

I will trust the experts that this is a 5-star guitar. I just started playing. But, be warned, the action on this guitar (or at least the one I got) is very high. Apparently “action” is the term for how much pressure you must apply to the strings in order to push them down. I also bought an electric guitar, and the action on that is much lower.
A benefit of having a high action guitar is that my fingers are vacant to be really tough. Suggestion: practice the E chord each day until you’re about to weep (which takes about 5 minutes your first day), and within about two weeks you will have developed the calluses necessary to really play the guitar for extended periods. Tip from a friend: don’t play right after a bath or shower, when your skin is weak.
